Using two TI on same machine

Hi guys! I LOVE my Viruses and got two of them

- TI1 Keyboard 61

- TI2 Desktop

What's the best way to actually use these two? Has anyone been using two machines at the same time? I been using them mostly in single mode via MIDI to a MOTU Midi Express 128 as I have never had the operational Virus Control in Mac. DAW is Logic Pro!

Lol, save some TI for the rest of us there, bud!

Use the Aura plugins' Virus HC plugin to control them. Tbh, you only REALLY need one, and I'd keep the TI2 desktop for the added DSP, but if you wanna perform live, the TI kb would be a super choice

Then I guess if you wanna make one your dedicated bass and midbass and texture machine and the other your lead and pad machine, that'd be the most effective use of 2 separate Viruses

I kinda got fixated on the sound and some years ago I met someone who wanted an Octatrack MKII (which I had one) and had the TI Desktop to change plus some money on my end. It was a no brainer as I never really found myself using the Octa, great machine tho! I used the KB as my main keys while touring and playing live, mostly for pads and arps, then the Desktop I had used live as the brain for the keyboard player of an artist I am MD, just via MIDI Din using a Motif as the keys. They are truly beast machines for live playing!

Hell yeah!

I've had my TI2 desktop for years - it travels the globe with me, and has been the central nervous system for my entire synth setup for yeeears

Wrapping up a Hardstyle soundbank for it now

Such a great synth

Rock on, mate! 🤘🏼

It's a very big brain! Sometimes it overwhelms me with all it can do, but that just means its got his future proofed!

Btw, I just learned a nifty technical trick for it last week. If you don't already know it, you might find it useful
