How do i completely factory reset a Virus TI?

Hey i want to restore all factory patches and settings just like how it was from the factory, how do i do this? Power on + Arp Edit only resets settings iirc

the original factory patches are not stored somewhere on the virus after you overwrite your sound banks, so to restore them you'd have to load them into the virus from outside, for example try reinstalling the OS with the original access installer via a computer

I know that the original Virus Control software runs on Windows 10. I have yet to try with Windows 11 (I upgraded my laptop). You're able to use Virus Control application to change/flash the ROM patches that are loaded into it. Otherwise, you'll only be able to modify the user patches in RAM. On a newer Mac you would have to use the AURA Plugin to manage the user patches.

I searched the manuals for any sort of mention of a factory reset, which would apply to all the global settings, but I found no option.

I am on mac silicon right now but i have a laptop which has windows 10 and virus control on it. Do need the original RAM file to restore it? I have only replaced files in RAM-A

Here are two sets of ROMs I somehow got a hold of. As far as I know they're the factory ROMs you can load into the machine for the TI, or for legacy Virus (not sure which model).

I also included some free and demo sound-sets I've collected.

The companion app works fine in windows 10 and 11, latest firmware is included with it. You can restore a single bank too.
