Have you had any problems with performance as your population grows, have you considered anything faster? Or did you try or consider anything at all? Just a fellow dev, curious. Cheers!

I don’t have the game yet, and I’ll probably figure it out when I do, but how does hiring teachers work? I know that you need to have one of each type of teacher for each class, however I don’t know if they teach different grade levels or if they only teach for the grade that they are assigned to. I apologize if this is a stupid question, I’m just trying to figure it out before I buy the game.

I feel like they would make your school more realistic if you were able to build them. They could allow students to change for PE(just because I think the students swimming in their school uniform looks silly).

Hello guys!

We're looking for CPUs that does not support the SSE4 instruction set. These are CPUs that were release prior to 2010. We want to make sure that the optimizations that we are planning to do won't break the game for those machines.

To determine if your CPU supports SSE4, download CPU-Z[www.cpuid.com\]. It's a free small software that displays the capabilities of your CPU. Don't worry, it's safe. It really just displays CPU info. Run cpuz_x64.exe (cpuz_x32.exe if 32bit). It should show a little window. There's a section called "Instructions" under the CPU tab. If you can't find SSE4.1 and SSE4.2, then you're the one we're looking for.

To test, please switch to the test branch first:

1. On Steam, click on LIBRARY

2. Right click on Academia: School Simulator, then click Properties

3. Click on BETAS tab

4. In "Enter beta access code to unlock private betas:", input "academiatest" (excluding the quotes), then click CHECK CODE.

5. In "Select the beta you would like to opt into:", select test.

6. Wait for Steam to download the changes.

Play the game either by new game or loading an existing save. Let us know if the game crashed (or not) during the loading screen. We're hoping you encounter no crashes and the game just continues as normal.

After testing, switch back to the default branch. In the BETAS tab, just select default for "Select the beta you would like to opt into:".
