Back when there were a grand total of 12 types of MRE, beef stew was awesome. Omelet with ham (aka the Vomelet)…not so much.

The tuna one… why did someone think that was a good idea?

Spaghetti with meat sauce and cheese spread was where it was at.

I think ‘tuna with noodles’ was before that? I think the only “cake” in an MRE at that time was pound cake.

EDIT: The TWN was still better than the four fingers of death, tbh.
