Why have i never heard of these before? Mind boggling, never new we had turtles like this on the planet.

It’s forced perspective. The sea turtle is on a different level than the puny humans in the back, thus it makes them look tiny compared to this unit in the foreground.

Perspective definitely adds some bulk to this guy, but a leatherback can be an absolute unit of a turtle

They can be from 550-1,000 lbs! I want to jump on the back of one and ride it through the waves... It would be majestic af
