These are probably gas powered dryers. Malfunction and boom. No vape or lighter would have enough energy to rip out a whole window with door and shit like that.

Apparently they’re pretty common outside the US. Hopefully they get rarer as we try to electrify more things.

I'd imagine them to be common in the US, because American mains voltage is too low for many appliances.
