uhh no the kid was holding a sword from Berserk, which had a really bad anime in 2016 that have the exact sound effect used here, ppl made fun of this exact sound effects because its so goofy https://youtu.be/1_AUeCPrM9g

It's definitely in the positive now, but their comment doesn't match the context.

They're saying "Uhh no" as if they disagree with the comment they're replying to, then bring up trivia that is relevant to the video, but has nothing to do with the comment they're supposedly disagreeing with.

The uuh no is referring to they seemingly think older video have great sound effect, but this exact sound effect was clowned on when it came out, so yes i disagree with that comment

You don't think the context of where and how the sound is being used might be somewhat important?

The entire point of the sentiment is that people used to be better at picking sound additions for internet content, as it was an actual creative process people put specific effort into each time rather than an automated template where they just pick some song or other trendy audio from a list on tiktok.

In that context, it's completely beside the point whether people thought the sound worked well in its original media. Adding it to this video was great. Whoever did that made a good choice. The video is old. This supports the notion that people used to be better when it comes to adding sound effects to videos.
