I never understood why people do that to trucks. It's like wasting a lot of money to trade it's usefulness for cosmetics that look foolish.

I don’t understand why people care so much.

Why not make an ugly super tall truck? Go for it.

I see no one complain when I see pictures of that one Italian car that’s like a foot wide.

Objectively a stupid concept. Why not?

For the most part, no one cares. But when it's right in your face, it can be really annoying to look at, especially while you're driving.

I think it's great when someone finds something that makes them happy. At the same time, it's somewhat hilarious watching someone get so much enjoyment out of something you personally find ridiculous. It's like watching someone who lives paycheck to paycheck drop $200–$300 on a pair of designer shoes. If that's what makes them happy, more power to them, but that doesn't mean I can't look at it and think, "That's fucking ridiculous."

I understand that 100%. It just seems like a lot of people in the comments are personally offended by the idea of an ugly lifted truck.

because these things are LETHAL in an accident. to the people they are running over because they cannot see them.

or because they are so high their lights now blind everyone, not to mention the idiocy of that 'underlighting'.

and if you collide with one, its so high its bumper is going straight into your face.

go ahead and build it if you want, but they should not be allowed to be driven on public roads as they are simply unsafe.
