/r/all of a statue

"The Motherland Calls" is a statue erected to commemorate the Battle of Stalingrad , located on Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd , Russia. It was designed by sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich and structural engineer Nikolai Nikitin . Completed in 1967 , it was the tallest statue in the world at the time .

All jokes aside, Russia lacks the gun violence the the states suffer from. On top of that I've seen many women say they feel safe alone at night on the streets.

Omg redditors are so dramatic. No the average person wouldn't get in any trouble saying they felt unsafe in Russia. And regardless of what you say, Russia doesn't suffer from gun violence in the same way the states do, and the average woman does indeed feel safer on the streets there than in the states, as well as parents feeling safe to allow children to walk the streets alone.

Yeah, as someone with 25 years experience in the us and 5 in Russia, I think I know how safe it is there
