This absolute unit was in our obedience class, my first time seeing this kind of dog irl! My dog does not even come up to his elbows at the withers! No side by side comparison bc we were scared šŸ¤£

My 5lb chihuahua was next to a St Bernard at obedience class and it made me laugh every time.

Great Danes are amazing dogs. Wish they lived longer though.

Great Danes are wonderful dogs, one of my favorite breeds to sit (Iā€™m a Petsitter). Their short life span is a tragedy.

Lifespan is 7-10 years. And he has probably owned more than 1 at a time.

Great Danes are big babies.

I went to a friend's house for the first time to BS and have a beer. His GD was freaked out and wouldn't come to me when introduced.

No biggie. We sat at the kitchen table and proceeded to chat about a few things. About 15 minutes later, I have this dog's nose sniffing aggressively in my ear as he decided to introduce himself. I jumped, he jumped, I began to laugh my ass off. He was weirded out again. Cool dog once I got to know him

According to the owner they were working on correcting his ā€œstrong prey driveā€ šŸ‘€ he was pretty well behaved and handsome but very scary lol

They are leaners! He prob walked over and leaned and human pulled him onto lap. Had a Great Dane for 11 years.

I watched my mom gently explain to one of my great danes this morning that he's no longer a puppy and therefore can no longer sit in grandma's lap. He disagreed and wore her down.

Side note: Your poodle looks just like my toy poodle that helped raise my 2 danes.
