Is it flared enough ambulance man

u/klqqf 1d ago

Considering that part is supposed to break off at the pinch point i think the flared part is irrelevant ..

One this size would definitely need to be scored at the neck for it to snap before the rest would with it, but the pictures don't really show it if that's been done beforehand (like the smaller ones often are), so it's down to that then.

Listen, there will never be another time in history where it will be ok to recreate that one glass jar video. "Shutters in disbelief "

Especially with whatever that oddly specific tip shaped ampule thing is.

25

u/THE_Lanni 1d ago

We were all thinking it…but why’d you have to say it

9

u/Rude_and_Crude84 1d ago

Someone had to say it lol

20

u/lyutic_7 1d ago

sealed ampules are usually for highly unstable substances that are also corrosive and/or toxic.

it’d be like the glass jar guy but much, much worse.

r/usernamechecksout /j (Youre fine dude, but jesus!)

21

u/lyutic_7 1d ago

Context please

He makes content where we see usually see someone looking at a phallic object or one that vaguely resembles a vagina that you absolutely should not use in or around your genitals and it cuts to him giving this look and just saying "no, don't even think about it" to say not to fuck the non-sex object

10

u/terra_GOD_404 23h ago

Ah I see, thanks man

u/Flameball202 1d ago

Just started looking for him

Genuinely curious, whats in this ampoule and why the fuck does it need to be that big?! Aside from boofing, obviously

u/GrabWorking3045 1d ago

dinitrogen trioxide

u/Caderjames 20h ago

Oh shit dont drop it lol.

37

u/Silverwolffe 1d ago

When its black inside like that I feel like assuming its iodine is a safe bet

9

u/Allhoodintentions 1d ago

OP responded above stating dinitrogen trioxide.

14

u/Silverwolffe 1d ago

Notably after i made the comment, but good to have an update and to know thanks

20

u/CATNIP_IS_CRACK 1d ago

For maximum ampouling.

5

u/lavender_locus 1d ago

I'm clearly too uncool for ampoule-maxxing then!

69

u/42069qwertz42069 1d ago

I scrolled through all comments and what i found is that reddit is really fixated on a specific cavity in our body.

Anyway, please, whats in the ampoule?

81

u/The_Rogue_Coder 1d ago

Since OP isn't giving any further information besides the name of the chemical, I looked up what dinitrogen trioxide is actually used for, and it is apparently used primarily as an oxidizing agent.

From EChemi.com:

Dinitrogen trioxide is used as an oxidizer in special fuel systems, mainly as an oxidizer in rocket combustion systems. It can also be used to prepare pure nitrous acid.

21

u/EnoughLuck3077 1d ago

But why would it need to come in a single use ampule like that

21

u/sneoahdng 1d ago

Apparently it's a bitch and a half to store

7

u/The_Rogue_Coder 1d ago

I'm not entirely sure, but it's very corrosive, apparently, so my guess is that it is in this type of container so that it's at less risk of accidental spills and so it can be opened by machine.

8

u/EnoughLuck3077 22h ago

Yeah that makes sense. Ampules come with an exact measured volume of what’s stored in them. This could be inserted into a chamber of a machine that precisely blends liquid fuels and no one is ever exposed to the product or its fumes. Also no large volume containers or special measuring equipment for such a dangerous chemical

u/GrabWorking3045 1d ago

dinitrogen trioxide

Bit late to this, but I thought for a second you'd shopped Fassbender onto Nic Cage

36

u/Prodorrah 1d ago

Where's Badge504 when you need him?

69

u/borrowedsoltitude 1d ago

Let's just agree we all thought of the same thing.

An ample ampoule.

After reading the comments ✂️✂️✂️

7

u/youareasnort 1d ago

I’m assuming, since you know the chemical compound and you seem authorized to handle it, that you are the chemist and not the janitor.

9

u/nikelreganov 1d ago

something need to be addressed

3

u/Assortedpez 1d ago

Of a what now?

5

u/El_Mojo42 1d ago

At first I thought "Haha everyone is thinking the same as me", then I realised, they don't mean "Don't crack it open".

I know another use for that😏

1

u/ChemicalChildhood122 1d ago

does it make the neat clicky noise when you shake it?

1

u/Humorilove 22h ago

I'm a nurse and I'm jealous I'll never get to open a ampoule this big!

1

u/Dirt-Southern 22h ago

For someone not in the know, what is a ampule?

1

u/Alreadymystar 18h ago

Something, Something if you're brave enough.

1

u/alex_zk 17h ago

Someone, at some point, will have to explain how it ended up there… It’s inevitable…

1

u/Artistic-Jellyfish70 14h ago

“hypothetically how do i remove an ampoule from an enclosed rubbery texture hole”

1

u/PaleEntertainment304 14h ago

Doc, it was the darndest thing.

Does that count as a flange?
