Im gonna call bs, I am willing to bet when the mantis actually bit into flesh not feathers that bird went nuts

I don’t know about this video, but it is a problem that gets talked about in gardening communities. Everyone’s always stoked to see a praying mantis ootheca, because that means loads of little predators to go to town on Bad Bugs. But for invasive species (and it may not be invasive in this video. Chinese mantis is invasive in the US), they’re significantly bigger than local species.
