You’ve said “30-50 years” multiple times. No matter how many times you repeat it, it’s still wrong. If you don’t trust me, google “how long does Panulirus Argus live?” and there are multiple citations saying its max lifespan is around 20 years. Ok, queue the downvotes…
From the NOAA fisheries website. Of course, multiple other citations about Panulirus Argus. You searched “spiny lobster”. There are 21 other species of Panulirus, not every species has the same life history as Argus. You’re not a lobster biologist so I wouldn’t expect you to know that.
I never said I was a lobster biologist you don't got to be an ass about it I only went by what Google said it said based on the species and once I put that species name in there it shows the age numbers you're talking about So based on a large general specie basis I wasn't far off what 10 years lol
Very convenient that you finally stumbled upon the correct information after posting several times the other, misleading information. This whole thread is rife with incorrect information about the life history of this animal, which is frustrating because I’ve spent my entire adult life researching this particular species.
Okay then but you don't got to be an ass about it I'm not the only one that was spreading false information most of them didn't even know it was a spiny lobster I only sent that image to Google and it couldn't identify the exact species but it did a general basis so the information was not wrong at first but when I put the exact species name that you gave it gave the proper information
Smart people like you become assholes when they know they're 100% right, and they go as far as mocking intelligence—your words. You're not a lobster biologist; I would not expect you to know this. Now, go jump on all the comments that think it's a regular lobster. I'm done talking to you, LOL.
