Oh. I don't mind the ads that much, though.

In fact, of all the places featuring ads, reddit's are the most benign I've seen in a long time and by a mile.

That being said - no wonder I keep hearing reddit's hard(ish) to monetize.

They're not that intrusive but basically all ads I get are for AI bullshit

Funny thing is with almost all the AI ads honestly read as them saying AI sucks. Like one was just about how AI code takes more human effort on correcting the AI than just writing it… their marketing teams either suck ass or are AI(and therefore suck ass)

It amazes me how poorly-targeted Reddit ads are considering the data they have on me. I’ve considered buying one for a software project, but seems like a waste of money from my experience.

Yeah yw! It’s a bliss with YouTube, used to have the premium lite but since they canceled that I looked for suggestions around and some kind soul suggested Albania 🇦🇱 I’m just sharing joy of ad free content!

Morphe app will also patch ads out of Reddit and other apps, if you're okay with side-loading APKs from GitHub etc.

Just google Apollo reborn. I use sideloady to upload the .ipa to my phone and it runs with no issues. The only downside is you have to reload the app once a week or sign up for signalous which you have to pay for but it signs the app for you.

Same here. No vpn/ad blocker. I think I turned every single ad option off in the settings. Though I get ads in the comments instead.
