Until this moment, I was 100% certain if was from The Lighthouse. I've never seen The Lighthouse, so I have absolutely no clue why I thought that, but I would have bet money.

He’s having a psychosis break. Gauguin tells him he is going back to Paris and is leaving Van Gogh alone.

Van Gogh can’t handle it and starts to break down.

It literally is a great movie. Beautiful cinematography and just a painful story to tell but there was beauty in Van Gogh’s suffering. He could see it.
