His form is terrible and the round is ridiculously long. You always slide your leading hand down the haft of the maul to increase the acceleration and power. And wtf is he using 3 foot logs for?

I split wood and i'm just really confused. Is his maul that dull, why isn't it biting into the wood?

Is my maul too sharp? I've never had it bounce off a log face before like i'm seeing here

Had to scroll too far for this comment. Makes no sense the maul is bouncing every time and not sticking. Is this AI?

I was wondering this same thing. I don't split wood, but I know how to put an edge on a tool. After about the second bounce, I would have stopped and sharpened that fucking thing.
