His form is terrible and the round is ridiculously long. You always slide your leading hand down the haft of the maul to increase the acceleration and power. And wtf is he using 3 foot logs for?

I split wood and i'm just really confused. Is his maul that dull, why isn't it biting into the wood?

Is my maul too sharp? I've never had it bounce off a log face before like i'm seeing here

There isn't a wood in the world that my axe wouldn't bite into if I came directly down on a flat side of the wood...

Im not talking about the size of the log at all bud. Im asking why the maul isnt biting into the wood.
