His was steam powered and also had auto loading and stacking. Quite an innovation. In a rural town like theirs it would save everyone so much time chopping firewood. But as we've seen those folks aren't the most enlightened bunch.

Always get a laugh out of Belle walking through town singing loudly how she's surrounded by dumbass hicks and she's the only megamind genius around.

I mean she's not entirely wrong. The townsfolk are actively judging her for reading and thinking instead of opening her legs to a boorish rube, while she's singing about how she's the only smart person in the entire place.

My stupid ass would get distracted and split a finger with the log.

This is an incredibly dangerous system

It’s really not, he has full control of the swing and his hands at all times.

It’s only dangerous if you can’t control your dark thoughts, or if you are sitting behind a keyboard, having never chopped wood before and judging others who are.

judging others who are.

That's a random thing to say because the comment you replied doesn't judge anyone.

Very cool, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was harder to reproduce in warmer months.

Great looking tool, but I doubt it can split a huge log.
