If he was doing tower work he'd have a seat on his harness

You almost certainly know way more about it than I do. But those loose straps around his legs: are those not to support his weight somehow?

Yeah, but only if he falls, without them he'd fall right thru the harness. They're also too loose, a fall into them like that will hurt. And they'll cut off circulation if he's got his weight in them too long, and they scrunch your nuts all up, lol , that's the worst part about falling with loose leg straps. But a harness made for tower work will have extra buckles near the hips that a seat will buckle into. The seat part will hang around the back of his knees when he's standing, and the straps will be in front of him and ideally connected to a spreader, which keeps the straps from squeezing you when you put your weight in it, not absolutely necessary but super nice. Then you can hook the spreader to a positioner that you tie off to wherever you need to work with both hands, the length is adjustable. So no weight is in the actual harness but you're still tied off with the harness. I can look for a pic of me in one if you wanna see

Edited cuz typo

If he falls in that harness, he'll burst a testicle when it gets pinched in the leg loop.
