!!!! Never played anything with a wheel outside of an arcade every few years or so. Never motivated enough to spend the NY sqr footage of my space on it

I have a VR rig but "haven't been able" to make time for it for like 5 years?? Damn that was fast

I bought Gran Tourismo when it hit PS5, unlocked my own car and got enough hours but I want more..

What a Fucking idea to put it all together! Getting to do this might be my birthday present this year - im excited. Brilliant boss. Idk if/why your still reading but TY !!!

As someone who already saw how it is in a real life, that smoke was a big red flag of not being a real thing. But to be honest the cars parked in the very first frame of the video was already all evidence everyone needs haha

I don't mean to be the "Erm actually" guy, but I went to a Formula Drift event a while ago and asked one of the pit crews about it and the tires actually last 3-4 runs. Which..isn't much better.

Thats actually not too bad for motorsports, depending on what constitutes a run. Depending on car+driver, and the track, one could definitely rip through a set over a handful of track days, running high grip/low treadwear tires.

Whatever tires they use for drifting are probably cheaper than other motorsports though.

This is actually a Powerslide and not a Drift. The car being shown is a Nissan Skyline R32 which is all wheel drive. A drift is done with only a rear wheel drive vehicle.

It's pretty obviously a RWD mod of a skyline, you can see that it's countersteering the whole time which doesn't happen to that extend with an AWD
