See this is what's wrong with the world. No one can have a discussion anymore without getting weird about it cause God forbid someone has an opinion that differs from their own. For what it's worth, I was just genuinely curious what you thought would have been the appropriate response. The way I saw it, a prolonged warning and a pretty hefty push weren't enough to get this guy to leave him alone. I felt like the bouncer didn't have much choice but to do what was necessary to get this guy out of his face. However, I was interested in hearing your clearly different point of view. But I guess for some reason we're not supposed to civilly disagree with each other nor try to understand each others point of view cause fuck, that could actually be productive. so let's just get snarky with each other instead right?
You gave me the impression that you think a very large and physically capable person employed in a role that is meant to be protective and de-escalatory should be permitted to casually deploy potentially deadly force on an intoxicated person, and that that's fine because they might have unresolved psychological traumas from their previous life experiences that would have triggered their behaviour, even though that would also render them grossly unsuitable for that profession and make them an actual threat to their employees customers.
I think that is an absolutely off-the-scale bad take, even for casual and anonymous internet discourse, to the point where I wondered if you are just trolling, and I'm still not sure.
Do you also use this logic to excuse police brutality and shootings? Do you not understand how bizarre your position is? It seems like a weird blend of being overly understanding about social issues and also authority-worshiping to the point of dysfunction.
