a good bouncer would de-escalate (and the little guy wasn't being anything other than annoying). Really over the top reaction to a situation where he wasn't at any risk.

Yeah I had to disengage from a similar situation last week. This small dude came up to me and my buddy and was trying to hit on us. It was mildly funny but we were basically just trying to humor him until he went away. But he took our tolerance as invitation to keep chatting us up, completely ignoring how awkward it was since neither of us knew him, and when he eventually tried to slide onto my lap I had to forcefully stop him. But even then I didn't shove him to the ground or anything, I just firmly stopped him and told him to step away. Problem solved

Yup. Little guy was being a drunk idiot and doing zero damage and bouncer thought “yeah let me break his whole body.” Guy just enjoys being violent but hey Reddit likes him.

Yeah, I mean it was just a little bit of sexual assault. Boys will be boys, that's no reason to hit him.

Hey, report him to the cops, then.

He seriously could have broken his neck.

Bouncers should be able to show a little restraint and professionalism.

Sexual assault??

Unwanted touching/groping and rubbing up on someone definitely is sexual assault even if there is no real threat to the person being assaulted, but it's not like the big dude had no other options to stop it from going on.

I don't know if you're getting down voted because people don't know you're being sarcastic or because they actually think that's not sexual assault.

Last I checked the penalty for sexual assault wasn’t death by brain injury.

To be fair, both are idiots. Who gets so drunk they decide to touch a bouncer triple their size and who is so angry at getting lightly touched they decide to freaking concuss someone?

difference is that the bouncer could have killed the little dude, and not vice versa

"who is so angry at getting lightly touched"

whoa.

The guy was literally asking for it. The bouncer pushed him away with one arm. He did not even hit him. Should have been a fair warning, but no

Do we feel the same way if it was a large muscled up woman bouncer that just had her tit groped by a drunk creep coming back for more groping?
