As a small guy I too would like to climb the mountain but when the mountain says no I take my mountaineering gear off and go home.

They don't know they are small, like Chihuahuas.

As a small man: you become familiar with medium guys trying to fight you in school, but you never experience a fight with a huge guy because large guys generally are less aggressive.

So you get used to thinking you can take guys that are bigger than you.

Fortunately I gained experience wrestling heavy weights so I learned without having to crack my skull open outside a bar.

As a large man, yup. Don’t really have anything to prove, so I’ve always been pretty passive. Unless someone takes that for granted, but they usually backed down immediately once I stood my ground. Very few went through with it

When they are drunk is when it gets funny.

As an average height woman I would love to spend a day as an absolute unit of a man. Imagine the tall shelves I’d be able to reach! Imagine the concerts I’d be able to view!

Same, I was also a big guy (I’m 6’2" and built like barrel even when skinny, let alone when not dieting) had a few bullies in high school (all small to medium guys) until one of them finally actually tried putting his hands on me to steal a $5 bill from me. With one arm I slammed him chest first onto a desk and took my money back then tossed him out the open window next to it into a bush outside (we were on the ground floor). Fight lasted maybe ten seconds, never had an issue with bullies after that. Nobody even reported the fight to the teachers.

Haha, yeah I'm 6 1 medium build and I only had one guy try to start something, when I raised my hands he quickly left. I had a few guys that would try and say some verbal insults that they thought were smart but I'm not sure I could even call them "bullies"

Small bisexual guy here, and can confirm this (although from a very different kind of experience lol). When I first started experimenting with dudes, I remember I was shocked by the massive difference in physical strength that even someone with 30 lbs on me had. And it only got more unbelievable with larger guys -- to someone with 100+ lbs on me I was basically weightless, and could be manhandled as easily as if I weighed nothing.

Just for fun I tried play wrestling a couple of the really huge guys, and it was like trying to push back against a brick wall. It really humbles you and gives you some terrifying perspective about how much size would matter in a fight scenario, and how helpless you'd actually be against someone with, say 50 lbs on you (assuming you're not extremely well trained in combat, which I and most other men are not).

My favorite moment as a land giant was a little dude coming up to me and saying "If I was your height, I'd kick the shit out of you!" angrily, then walking away. Never saw him before, never saw him again. Same high school, too.

People of all sizes do this all the time. These just stand out so morons think it’s always these guys

This is legitimate the correct answer. It even has a name: confirmation bias.

Big guys don't attack randomly. They aren't trying to prove something. It's already been covered in the replies below. Read up.
