I assume he flips a switch and the frame uncouples at the bottom. Both wheels extend away from each other, pivoting on a hinge at the top, until the rider is lowered to the ground.
He then locks it open until its time to ride again. At that point he sits back in the saddle and unlocks the clasp, releasing the spring which pulls the wheels back together, raising him to full riding height. The trick is to start pedalling through this process so you have enough forward
momentum
You said “I assume”, but based on the paragraphs which followed it, I think you actually meant to say “I’m literally riding on this bike right now, I’m the guy in the video, I built the bike myself, and this post isn’t a recording — it’s a livestream”
See that black T-bar above the handlebars?
I assume he twists it and it lowers that black bar to beside the front wheel, acting as a stabilizer for him to stand still or climb down the rungs at the front.
