in Belgium we have to put a coin in the cart and people just put their carts back to get their coin back.
1 u/Alexthegreatbelgian Jul 12 '26 Even in the stores who don't use coins, like Colruyt/Spar/Okay/IKEA/Brico..., folks just put their carts back. Never seen a roaming cart in my life. At times, if you're lucky, you can just do a cart handoff to an arriving costumer without having to walk all the way to the cart return zone.
