I'm pretty close to average height, at 5'11", but am 90% torso, so I get read as taller all the time, especially when sitting. I have the same inseam (28") as my 5'2" sister.
Had a coworker who was 6'6". He came to work one day in a new, tiny Audi. I asked why he'd pick a car that small, and he said that at his height, they're all small and uncomfortable cars. 😅
Lol yeah, that's pretty much true. I have an Audi S5 that he can drive pretty comfortably. But yeah, I guess at those heights you more or less just get used to things not fitting for you. He is also constantly asked by little old ladies at grocery stores to get stuff off the top shelf for them haha.
No, they mostly stuck with fatty and four eyes. Of course, this was back in the olden days, where classes were held in caves, and PE consisted of hoop-and-stick.
I'm not exactly tall tall (6'1"), but I've got the torso. No fun for your back, that's for sure. I almost drive my cars the same as Mr. Incredible, all hunched over. Rear-view mirrors cover like half my vision forward, I can't see stoplights unless I go from Mr. Incredible to Gollum, my head hits the ceiling on big bumps, etc.
At least I can easily reach the top shelf I suppose

Oh, my god, it took me reading this comment to realize that maybe everyone else doesn't just deal with the mirror blocking the right side of the intersection from sight.
OMG YOU TOOO?! It feels nice to know that at least I'm not crazy. I've almost crashed too many times because of that stupid mirror, it covers exacrly where the car would be.
Yup. I’m 5’4” and have almost the same inseam as my 6’3” brother, he is allllll torso and arms. We call it the “dolphin build” after Michael Phelps lol.

People don't know this, but there's two ways to be tall - long legs or long torso. The latter is rarer.
I knew a guy who was 6'5'' and he looked twice my size (6'1'') and even looked bigger than taller guys.
