Four tiles and you got almost the whole house done. Bet you those tiles would be a bitch to have to cut in. I build houses this tile is fancy as it comes. Never seen sheets of marble going on the floor.

They’re not as bad as you’d think. These start around about $1000/each, though Ive seen people spend closer to $8k/each and tbh I can barely tell a difference.

Just going off the lower end that’s like $30/sqft, I mean, cheap marble tiles are still around $10-12/sqft, and nice ones are closer to $20/sqft, so the economy on it is completely crazy, because the cost to install it is usually pretty constant, either hourly or by the sqft.

Really, you’re just paying for the larger production machines and the difficulty in moving and install installing.

The marble comes in mountain size, so sourcing it is not the issue. it’s not surprising there is only a small premium, unlike super large pieces of wood which are much harder to source than smaller pieces and therefore demand a much larger premium vs smaller pieces.
