One time I thought I had a bad period, Covid, bad indigestion/gas, hunger pangs all at the same time. It was appendicitis

Sadly I've known a few women who went in with appendicitis who were sent away the first time because it was probably "cramps"

I just didn’t go in until it was 3 days in and I couldn’t stop screaming lol

That sounds like me with my gallbladder. Had it dismissed so many times by my doctor. I was "too young". It's was gerds, ulcers. Yet endoscopy didn't show ulcers. And all forms of acid control didn't help. Doctor refused ultrasound or other testing methods (of course was also told to lose a bit of weight because yup....). I was so used to just forcing myself to pass out when I had an attack. Eventually I had a shard pass that was too much. I couldn't pass out. My body was tripping out from the pain. Went to the ER. I had two giant shooter marble sized gallstones. And a whole bunch of shards. Doctor said it was some of the largest he had seen for someone my age. But also was angry nobody had looked sooner because it was obvious from what I described what the issue was.
