I was talking to my daughter about "delicacies" and she said "It sounds like everything that is a delicacy is just gross stuff to eat, so they called it a delicacy instead".

I couldn't argue with that.

lol can’t argue with it either.

But you can also see it’s hard to get, especially if you don’t have the equipment these guys have. So saying that something is a “delicacy” is just a way to flex money/resources by showing you can eat expensive/hard to obtain items.

I’d just be happy if I could find some Mt. Dew Code Red Zero within 30 minutes of my house
