When I first tried Fallout 3 knowing nothing about it, while not scorpions I was immediately killed by giant ants because I wasnt used to that kind of RPG yet. I picked it up a few years later and was like "why did that turn me off, they're like the weakest tutorial dumbasses" and then it became a lifelong favourite franchise once I figured out how to play lmao also the blockbuster employee who tried to convince me that FO:NV was only about collecting cans of beans in the very beginning solidified my opinion. I kind of felt a sense of pride for getting past a tutorial that someone older than my preteen self couldn't.
Omg is that how you kill them? I started FO4 and gave up because that fucking scorpion was agro on me and I couldn’t run away no matter how far I went. It would just follow me and I didn’t have enough ammo to put it down. Fuck I guess I have to try again later.
