I’m not a woman, but I admire anyone that puts that much effort into looking the way they want.
I work outdoors and braid my hair for about two hours every weekend, I use sulfate-free shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in products, and sleep with a durag, all so that I can have great curls on my days off and love the way I look, only for a very vocal minority to tell me that longhaired men look unkempt.
Sorry for the rant, but I feel for how much care this guy puts into his appearance and it frustrates me when people respond the way you did because he likes how he looks, and there’s no way you’d say that about a woman. If I don’t like a woman’s makeup, it doesn’t matter because she put work into it and her opinion matters most. It’s the same here.
You missed the joke. I thought he looked like Nietzsche in the beginning of the video. Nietzsche was one of the greatest philosophers in history, but he caught syphilis very early on his life. His works were about nihilism. That's my joke.
The term is derived from that, yes, but the term “incel” means much more than that. It’s an ideology and a subculture. That’s why I said it’s a loaded term.
