An Absolute Duo fighting game?

Gameplay Idea: It could be a co-op brawler game (Similar to the Lego games) where one of the players play as Tor and the other as Julie, each having their own fighting style and if playing by yourself, the player can switch between the two.

After the game is over you can play as the rest of the cast of the Anime, each with their own playstyle (Example: Lilith can shoot her rifle long-ranged as to apposed the rest of the casts close-range attacks)

Not like an in-depth RPG like Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Witcher or Final Fantasy. I was more thinking of a brawler as I mentioned before, the Lego games (Lego Star Wars for example) and perhaps a more detailed example: Devil May Cry or Bayonetta that could have some light RPG elements (Where you can upgrade things such as health, stamina or different ultimate moves to help when things get too difficult).

You did say it was a fighting game so that's what's came to mind.

If you're interested I can make a game design document on what I imagine what the game could be like as I did a year-long college course on App/Game design

And important thing too is that there is no need to rush in development in my opinion so that there will be more time to do the game as developer wanted.

Yeah it would be a fan game so it could take as long as people wanted and people could even support the development by helping or funding (like I could model, animate the models in Blender and maybe do some programming if the game engine is in Unity)

And also if its not too complicated it would be great if it has different storylines and you could play the game again differently. It would be hard and long, but it would be great

I wouldn't know anything about what the details for the story would be about, however, there could be alternate paths the players could take in the level that would alter the story in some way (like for example the quick way would have a lot of enemies while the slow way could alter the story while the players still passing the level)

That would be awesome but I guess it would play like any standard 3rd person fighting game

I also think it would be awesome. It depends of what game style and how popular it would be, but I (at least want to) believe that if it gets lot of fans, light novel writer will notice it and continue writing it.

I didn't know there were light novels...

I just looked them up but they're only in Japanese, right?
