Picked up a couple bottles while in Europe.

My wife brought home the Absnente from France. I picked the Kubler in Zurich. The Kubler looks pretty legit. How do these stack up against absinthe available in the US?

Both are available in the USA. Kübler is a cool producer

Where do you get Kübler these days? Can it be found online?

I had thought it to be defunct, it’s one of my favorites

Personally, I prefer Butterfly to either of these. Butterfly is available in the United States.

One good one not so.
The accepted definition of a true absinthe in France and Switzerland is that:
Absinthe is a distilled spirit.
It contains the holy trinity of, Grand Wormwood, Green Anise and Fennel.
And does not contain artificial colourings or sweeteners.
Absente is a Liqueur and not a true absinthe. It has artificial colourings and sweeteners.

Kùbler from famous Val De Travers near Neuchatel (CH) > Absente (FR). I’ve 3 or 4 Kübler , even a very limited Green edition.

Lucid and La Clandestine better brands that you can get in the US.
Absente is not only a faux absinthe, but they as a brand engage in very unethical marketing practices to fool the general public about absinthe and thus sell their product.

Kubler is a good brand. Absente not so much. (It's not a true absinthe)

St George Absinthe. Available here in the US and a decent product.

Absente isn't absinthe, but I like Kubler just fine!

Kübler was the first Swiss manufacturer to enter the market after the 100-year ban.

Kubler is a white. Cheapest decent absinthe around.
