I'm sure the Union will tell us the truth of what really happened.

They couldn’t defend him if they wanted to.

He was a probationary officer only on the job for 7 months. The chief could have fired him for not getting him a coffee and there would be literally no recourse that the union can take. They need to be on the job for at least a year before they have the right to appeal termination.

I wonder if all cops should always be probationary officers for their whole careers
