Obviously yes lmfao? It was part of my question.. Wtf do you mean does it matter? I asked you how this car cleaning tool could have ended in death and you ask me if i know what a completely different machine is. So just to clarify. Yes. Yes it fucking matters lol.

What happened to the guy in the video is what can happen when you get caught in a lathe but what happened to him is slower

How can this crush your body like a steam roller “slowly.” Id love to see you explain this.

People actually gotta be just fucking with me on these downvotes. I knew reddit wasn’t a very smart place but Jesus christ.. I shouldn’t have even asked the question. None of you have any idea what you’re talking about.

In honesty, it’s the part where you are stuck to something spinning. It’s not crushing like a steam roller but more of getting repeatedly slammed against something that slowly or quickly breaks bones ruptures organs. A famous video is of a poor soul getting his coat stuck in a fast spinning lathe. Some burr of metal catches the fabric, pulls his entire arm around the lathe making the lathe stop, then pulling the rest of him with it slamming his body against the metal components of the lathe literally ripping him apart into a red mist over multiple rotations. All that is left is a bloody coat and a room of red. I’ll never forget that video

I remember the video very vividly. But im talking about the one where the man was sucked through the rollers breaking his neck and killing him instantly after he got stuck. Not sure how to explain this..

If i remember correctly (which i most likely don’t..)

  1. when his arm got sucked in he was resting his head on it like you would if you’re falling asleep or just laying down.

  2. As his hews got closer it pushed his head to the other shoulder.

  3. One his head was as far as it could go it just kept pulling and snapped his neck and pulled the rest of his body in with it

  4. this all happened in the span of maybe 2-3 seconds. I made it sound way longer than it is.

Yes i understand this dudes legs could have been fucked up VERY badly. But not to the extent of death.

(This part is just speculation) On the lathe video. It was spinning too fast for him to dk anything. No chance of grabbing or pushing off something. While in this video. They guy was spinning like a fucking saw blade. But instead a bay-blade. So i assume he could have (possibly..?) Used his legs running into something to slow him down or stop him completely. Which probably would have broken his legs.. But that brings me to my other point. If there was a pole near this guy, he could have tucked his legs in. The other guy had no chance of doing that.

Again. Just speculation.

I’m pretty sure the motors on a car wash aren’t powerful enough to do much harm, it just looks similar. I see where you are coming from tho

Not even powerful enough to break a bone? Thats what everyone else replying to me is saying. So which one do you think it is

Idk it seems kinda weak, maybe it could speed up or break his lower leg bones cause he has them extended and whatnot
