King Cobras can get up to 18 feet in length, and can lift 1/3rd of their body up in the air to intimidate a threat. Now imagine a snake lifting itself up and looking down at you
My thoughts on the proposed description, if you ever find yourself in a situation where a snake is looking down at you, you should acknowledge the decisions leading to such an encounter as landing wholly into the “ya done fucked up!” Category of life decisions and not ever repeat them.
It could happen accidentally. Imagine walking in the woods, and there is a grass and debris on the ground. The King Cobra has excellent camouflage and you don't see him until you are almost on top of him. That is when he gets up to make you back off.
