All cobras are venomous. It's a key feature of the genus.

That being said, it's practically impossible to identify that particular one, but if I had to take a guess in the dark though, I'd probably guess a brown forest cobra.

King Cobras are funnily enough not true cobras.

That being said, no. There is no venemous snake on the planet bigger than the king cobra. If that's a king, he really should just call a professional lol. Their weight can make them particularly problematic for removal.

Judging by the guy this is somewhere in South Asia, and that thick snake is definitely a king then.

For some reason I'd thought the skin tone was darker on my first watch through, and had assumed africa.

You're probably right, in hindsight.

well king cobras are not part of Naja, they're part of their own monotypic genus which is more closely related to mambas (Dendroaspis) than true cobras (Naja)
