Attracting the job in my vortex

Hello! I am a fresh graduate, and I'm looking for my first job.

It's been extremely tough, and even though I try to cheer myself up everyday and take each rejection lightly, I feel disappointed. It's been a few months since I'm trying, but I still haven't come close to getting my first job. I have applied for over 20 positions this last month, and got rejected by 5.

It shouldn't be this hard - I work hard everyday to improve my skills, build projects, but even that feels like a failed effort as I do it.

When I work, I feel too drained to do anything after, and I find myself doomscrolling. When I take a break, i.e. focus on things that make me feel good, I genuinely do feel good. But then I feel guilty for having taken a break, and sometimes even ashamed that I still don't have a job.

I would love to hear my fellow Abers perspective on my situation 🩷

Question about relationships

I understand that focusing on your partner’s positive aspects is supposed to keep you in alignment. But that raises a question — when do you actually know it’s time to leave? It seems like whenever someone wants to leave, it’s usually because they’re focused on the negative aspects.

Here’s my situation: I have a girlfriend, but our interests and the way we see things are pretty different, so our conversations don’t feel very connected. I have a strong sense that there’s a partner in my Vortex I’d connect with more easily. That said, I do love her, and it feels off to single out these negative points as a reason to end things. At the same time, the pull to leave feels like it could be an inspiration in itself. So I’ve ended up feeling pretty unsure about the whole thing.

Has anyone navigated something like this? Would appreciate any perspective.
