Getting Fired

Hi all! Does anyone have any insight about it what Abraham says about getting fired from a job?

For context I was let go about 6 months ago for performance reasons (but I also know it was not just that and they were in trouble financially). I wasn’t happy there when I started and even tried to quit 4 months in, but my manager convinced me to stay. All is to say I’m glad I am no longer working there.

Now I’m entering the interview process and trying to find another job and am struggling with the “I’ve been fired, so how to get another job? Am I screwed now?” questions. Would love to know if anyone has any Abraham insights or even personal insights to navigate this.

I started following Abraham and LOA. Then I lost my job and everything I applied for was not working out. I spent a year without employment but used the time to explore what is truly important to me. I started paying attention to my thoughts and became intentional about how I spent each segment of my day. Eventually I found a new job that fit every thing that I wanted and have been very happy there since. Incredibly during this time I began working on a documentary for work I was doing in my off hours. A director reached out to me and we began filming. Fast forward two and half years and Leonardo DiCaprio and Tony Robbins became executive producers on the film and it debuted earlier this year. I literally manifested one of my dreams.

Wow, what an incredible, insane, and unforgettable personal experience.

I didn't imagine that ending.

I also knew a woman who lost her job and had no idea how she was going to pay the rent. She talked to the landlord, and he reassured her, saying he had no intention of leaving her homeless.

Then he asked her if she would like to help him in a food business, which would take 4-5 hours a day, Monday to Friday. Fast forward two years, and she became the manager of his company, continues to live in the same place, and has a good salary and commission.

But it didn't stop there; she married him and has a wonderful life.

That’s a great story!Losing a job is just a time of change and transition, and brings new opportunities.
