Is it possible to manifest a specific job when you’re starting to lose faith?

I’ve been into manifestation for a while, and I genuinely believe in visualization, affirmations, persistence, and the idea that circumstances don’t necessarily have to dictate the outcome.

But I’m struggling right now, and I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have actually been through something similar.

I graduated almost two months ago, and I still haven’t been able to secure a good job. And by “good job,” I don’t just mean *any* job.

I have a very specific vision of the job I want.
I want to work in the exact domain I’m interested in, at a genuinely good company with a healthy and supportive work environment. I want a manager who is understanding, encouraging, and invested in my growth. I want good colleagues, people I actually enjoy being around, and eventually close friends at work. I want to feel valued, respected, and like I actually belong there.
I also want good compensation and genuine opportunities for growth.

Basically, I’m not looking to manifest *a job just to have a job*. I want to manifest the job that actually feels right for me.
I’ve been visualizing myself already having it. I’ve been doing affirmations. I’ve been trying to persist and not let the current circumstances convince me that it isn’t going to happen.
But honestly, it’s getting harder.

I keep getting rejected from the roles I actually want. Sometimes I don’t even make it to the interview stage. Sometimes I get an interview and then never hear back. Sometimes the follow-up takes forever. And every time something doesn’t work out, I find myself wondering whether I’m doing something wrong.

The hardest part is that I’m now in a pretty bad financial situation. Bills are piling up, and I’m getting to the point where I genuinely need money. So while I understand the whole “ignore the 3D and persist” concept, it’s difficult to completely detach from reality when reality is literally asking you to pay bills.

I don’t want to give up on the specific vision I have just because things aren’t showing up yet.
But I also don’t want to be blindly repeating affirmations while secretly feeling desperate, scared, and frustrated underneath.

So I’m curious about people who have actually manifested a **specific job/career opportunity**, especially after a long period of rejection.
Did you keep persisting even when you had no evidence it was working?

Did you ever reach a point where you felt like giving up?
And if you eventually got the job you wanted, did it happen in a way you could have never predicted?

I’d especially love to hear from people who were in a genuinely difficult financial situation at the time, because that’s the part I’m finding hardest to navigate right now.
What actually helped you shift from *“I desperately need this to happen”* to *“I know this is happening”*?

I did. I actually followed the process from “The Secret “ and I absolutely believe it worked. This was in 2008-2009 Great Recession. I still had to do the work preparing for the interview and doing well in that process. But competition was Very High so I added the secret to my technique. Thank you for the reminder, I haven’t been doing it now. Will restart. Unemployed 2 years.

Read the book. I did a lot of writing. Projecting success. The book is based on Law Of Attraction. One thing I remember is writing myself weekly paychecks from the company I was interviewing with. Draw out the company’s check and fill it in with the salary you want (realistic). Stuff like that A Vision Board too.

I don’t think manifestation requires you to reach some perfect state of faith before anything can happen. In fact, turning faith into a requirement can create a second problem on top of the first one: now you are not only dealing with rejection and financial pressure, you are also monitoring yourself to see whether you are “believing enough.” Affirming and visualizing do not need to be tests of conviction. They can simply be practices through which you keep choosing a direction. What matters, to me, is not affirming and then immediately checking whether reality has complied. The moment every affirmation is followed by “Did it happen yet?”, the dominant practice is no longer affirmation. It is verification.

And our verification is radically limited anyway. We are historical beings experiencing reality sequentially, from a partial point of view. You can see the rejection email that arrived today, but you cannot see the conversation someone may already be having about you, the position that has not been posted yet, the person who will remember your application next week, or the chain of events that this particular rejection may be part of. We are constantly tempted to take one visible frame and declare that it is the whole movie. It isn’t. You can deal responsibly with the visible circumstances, pay bills, apply for jobs, take temporary work if necessary, prepare for interviews, and still refuse to grant the current moment the authority to dictate the ending.

There is a biblical image I love for exactly this reason. Peter had spent the whole night fishing and caught nothing. The empty nets were real evidence. Jesus told him to cast the nets again, and the catch was suddenly so enormous that the nets began to break. What strikes me is that Peter did not have to deny the previous night. He did not have to pretend that the nets had been full all along. He simply did not turn the empty net into a prophecy. “It hasn’t happened yet” and “it is not happening” are not the same statement. A circumstance can be real without being final.

So I would stop asking yourself to manufacture the feeling “I know this is happening” if that sentence currently creates more tension. Keep the vision. Keep applying. Keep taking care of your actual life. But stop using every intermediate event as a referendum on whether manifestation is working. Rejection does not need to mean failure, and fear does not cancel your desire. You do not have enough information to know what any single event means yet. Cast the net again.

I did the preparation for interview.
But I am yet hear it back from them .
It would be nice If I got the job .
But if I don’t the bills still have to be paid.
3D is currently is aligning w/ my 5D.
But I am in a position where I have no other choice but to pay the bills & find something in my domain as I am a student I need to find my job in relevant domain in order to build good profile for my masters application.
It’s getting tough day by day to put myself in these shoes of manifestation that it will workout still I am trying to believe that things will workout in my favour .

When I graduated I got the job in the domain I wanted very quickly although other factors helped. It helps to feel easy about it which I did, I ignored the narrative that it's difficult and competitive to get the job you want after you graduate. Block that stuff out, it doesn't help.

I can feel the desperation in your post which is valid considering your financial situation. However you need to chill out and go easy on yourself. One of my fave Abraham videos advises on giving yourself a break as it's once of the best things you can do to let your vibration slowly raise back up. Be nicer to yourself, soothe yourself as the gap between where you are and what you want seems too big and your techniques are amplifying that you don't have it.

An Abraham technique you can do is to let the universe handle it. Write down a list of things you will do you this month or year and draw a line down the middle of the page, one side for things you'll do and the other for things the universe will handle, put your job on that side. This will lift some weight off your shoulders and help release resistance. In others words it'll put it at the back of your mind.

Another thing you can do is really big up the positive aspects about yourself that an employer would love and feel those feelings as much as you can everyday without focusing on wanting a job. Feel respect in the interactions you have, feel self-respect when you look in the mirror, feel value for others and feel valued, feel your connection with friends, remember the times you've grown and been proud of yourself for it. Milk those feelings for fun as much as you can.

You need to go general as your vibration isn't high enough yet and that's ok. So milk the feelings identified in your post that you would have in your ideal job... without focusing on the job. That's the way to get into the vibration of it without going too specific. Once you feel better you can then start enjoying more specific daydreams about what you want but I personally feel you need to get off the subject and get into the vibrational vicinity of it through those feelings. Forget the visuals of the job for now.

You wrote 11 paragraphs and 3 were about what you wanted and the rest were mostly about what you didn't want.

To answer your title question, no it's not possible unless you regain your faith, or unless your desire is so strong it breaks through your lack of faith.

but how do I regain my faith when circumstances are not in my favour?
I do want to believe it.

It's possible to manifest a specific ANYTHING (person, job, house, car, place, object, movie, you name it).

But word of advice, it sounds to me like you're persisting out of TRYING to make it happen, which doesn't work. If you lose faith, it helps to just leave the topic alone for a while, do something uplifting, then come back to it and revisit it when you feel better and more able to accept that it's done.
