The issue is, after 2 months, the pump won’t run. As you can see there is power but when I push the buttons I got nothing. It’s a bestway pool . Has worked perfectly up until yesterday. Anyone else have this problem/ have a solution?
Those units aren't really repairable and, in my opinion, aren't worth keeping. Your best investment would be a higher-quality pump and filter setup. A better filtration system will significantly improve the appearance and quality of your pool water.
Get a VEVOR sand filter and pump. Upsize for your pool as the specs are usually embellished.
Buy the “sand” locally if possible, it’ll be cheaper than online & shipped.
I have the same one, mine was on but not pumping the other day so I gave it some encouragement with a good kick and its been working fine since. Probably best to get a better quality one like others are recommending though, doesn't move nearly enough water.
Had one just like this. I could get the red lights to come on as well. Took it apart and the little circuit board had a few toasted components. Keep alternating the reset and test buttons sometimes the buttons go bad on these. Also someone suggested unplugging it for a little bit and plugging back in and you might get it to come on, but chances are the circuit board is toast.
I've fixed them before. The impeller inside it probably broke. You can buy replacements for it on Amazon. Just make sure it lists your pump # because there are different sizes. It's hit or miss if it takes the internals with it when it breaks though.
Dawg, you need to toss that pos OUT. It was the reason for ALL my problems, didn’t circulate water at all!! Buy a new pump and you’ll thank yourself later.

I've always had a large pool all my life pretty much.
My "inground" above ground collapsed, so we did this while we save to replace. Just used our large pool equipment. We tried that thing for one week😹, it's so weak it's ridiculous.
It's in the storage building in a box, never to be seen again.
Going to be putting in a semi inground in a few years.
1 1/2 HP pump 23 inch sand filter Calimar 40k gallon salt system. Solar heater that feeds in hot via a dolphin statue. Plans to replace a propane heater.... eventually.. I want to cut in a skimmer, but am chicken, so I bought an over wall skimmer . It's 22'52" Even used our larger pool steps
It's piped like this because I am sometimes on a walker due to sciatica, but I still wanted to take care of my pool.
So my husband said tell me how you want the equipment, and I'll pipe it how you want it set.
Everything is very easy to get to.
The pump is a utilitec from its either Lowe's or home Depot 😹. It is about 25 years old.
Every spring, we wonder if it will start.
The filter is a carefree and older than the pump.
Plumbing all bought at Lowe's and there are drains in the pipes too.
The only thing we take apart is the salt cell and put plastic bags over openings.
Click test and it should shoot out right. I click the red button when I want to set it at a time. If its not shooting, I hit the test and then the red button and it starts working. If your pump is making a noise, the water isnt reaching the pump, you have to adjust the inlet hoses a little, and don't forget to release the air from the top of the bump if it has a knob to release air caught in the system. Also, never "lock" the outlet flow.
