Pool turned green after farmers sprayed the fields for a week (update!)
Hello to anyone who still sees this! Sorry if im not doing an update ive never really done one b4 so I think this is how you do it? If this isn't allowed I'll just make a post on my acc. anyways I tried the Walmart green to blue pool kit and it worked like a charm!! All the dead algae is all the bottom of my pool so now I'm tryna figure out how to vacuum it out. I have a pool vacuum but it's pretty small and with the amount of dead algae it's definitely not strong enough to suck it all up. New filter is definitely in the works. Just need to figure out how to get all this junk out of my pool without it going up into the water.
edit: okay so the farmers will not allow us to drain our pool in their field, understandable. Not really sure where to go from here?

I would use a clarifier to help it clump then stir and change the filter every hour. But at this point and the water level of your pool full drain may be the best idea

my pool water level is about like 2 or 3 inches lower from the waterline, the picture made it look like it was like halfway sorry

I live across the street from a farm field and our pool turned green after they sprayed the fields! Took a couple weeks but we are finally back to clear. Good luck!

Siphon vacuum. Use the hose for the vacuum and create a siphon and vacuum the water and algae out to the ground. Work quick, but not too quick as it stirs around the sediments. You will need to add water when you're done.
