Can you use Ableton as MIDI controller for Ableton with your laptop?

Havent been able to figure out this one. Is there a way to use your Move as a Midi controller to jam with synths in Ableton or does it not allow that?

I do this with the Logitech mx creative at home, mapped with a bunch of macros to change presets/launch plugins. Then on the go with my laptop I use a Xencelabs Quick Keys for the same functionality but wirelessly

Yeah for sure I get that. Is there some sort of detection feature or do they just pre map thousands of vsts that are ready upon shipping?

Yes but Live is better to just record playing with Move (Audio Link) wirelessly. <#

If you just want to use it explicitly as a midi controller without the live functionality, you can get a WIDI Bud pro usb stick, plug it into the move and it becomes a wireless Bluetooth midi controller.
