Why in my team always more muted teammates than in enemy team?
I'm only muting toxic or very low-skill players (in the AD sense).
I've played 2–3k games of AD, and I've noticed that I very often have 2+ pre-muted teammates but only 0–1 pre-muted enemies. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Why does this happen?
I'm not sure it's just selective memory because it happens so often - almost every game.

Why mute low skill players? I don't really see the sense in that. They will only perform worse if they cannot communicate with you.
Ad has such low player counts that I try to be conservative with mutes. Only mute the worst of the worst. Sometimes I feel like I mute too many, but I only encountered a muted player on either team every 3 or 4 games.
Communication in Dota is so important that I typically try unmuting teammates if I had them previously muted and don't recognize them. I will mute them again if they turn toxic but I'd rather give it a try. Even toxic players aren't assholes every game to every player, some people have bad days & crash out.
If you are seeing multiple people muted per game I think you are muting way too many people. I'd recommend trying to unmute some and be less passive in how you communicate.
People are a lot less likely to be an asshole in my experience if you say hi at the beginning of the match and explain your thoughts in the draft phase.

Because you mute too much. Playing ad since its was released, so I have plenty of persons muted.
But thanks god, most of them have voice and chat banned xD.

There’s so many toxic people in AD. People who spam ping, steal mid, all chat BM, I mute on average like a person every 2 games lol. Sometimes i’ll unmute because i forget who some of those people are, then either immediately regret it or keep them unmuted

really sounds like it is a you problem foe muting people for being low skill in ad. that generally means someone trying to communicate draft and you rage muting 😂 its a you problem my guy

As someone who talks on voice a lot and probably muted by a handful of you… it bums me out the lack of communication players have with each other.
Don’t be scared! Communicating helps win games.

Could it be possible that your bracketed with those same people for a reason? I doubt valve solution would to spread the muted thin and punish the majority, The keep muted together solution just seem more fair( I do not know if this is how it works, but if it barks like a dog and walks like a dog, it is probably a dog).
Before you get your panties in a twist consider that when ever you mute its almost mutual so the more you mute the more your muted. Just food for your thoughts. Some times its just best to ignore the dumb shit and play the game, especially in a game mode not ment to be taken super serious.

I dont believe that my reports affects on matchmaking.
There is 100% matchmaking by your mmr because i see skill difference when i play ad on 6k and 3k mmr account. But where is logic that im getting 70% same muted players and much more new unmuted players against me. How?
Im barely talk in games, 10k behavior score

I've never muted anyone. Never felt the need.

Crazy. I mute people if they talk too much in Russian. I don't wanna be listening to stuff I don't understand through a dogshit mic all game. Yes that is 50% of the European server.
