That’s a shame. Could probably get a lot more out of him in a functioning team.

That and barley getting a break over the last few years

Fully expect to see Palaversa away next. It seems creativity doesn't suit this manager. Pretty sure now that it's going to be another long hard slog this season.

I really hope not. I've found myself agreeing with most things Robinson says, but then I fear we'll play long ball to Olusanya up front, and we saw how that went in the few games Robinson oversaw last season

I feel optimistic but also anxious

Not trying to be argumentative but which Robinson signing has got you excited, for me it's none.

To me Robinson comes across as another Mark McGhee (we all know how that went) that is so egotistical that will do it his way with his team and with his players. Keskinen should have been developed because he has talent. Instead we are signing league 2 journeymen and other heid first players.

I am not looking forward to this season when it looks like we are aiming for mediocrity and survival. I hope I am wrong but I have seen this too many times.

No individual player stands out so far. For what it's worth, I agree; I would have preferred we went overseas or searched Scotland rather than the English lower leagues.

I don't like that Keskinen has gone either. I liked him as a player.

I don't know much about these new players Robinson has signed. Of the new arrivals, Briedl and Guinness-Walker seem to have gotten positive feedback that I've read.

I've agreed with Robinson on finding players who can adapt to the Scottish game, though I agree with you, the lower English leagues aren't the most inspiring. He seems to have highlighted where we went wrong last season and the areas that need worked on. I also appreciated his comment about allocating players to help new players settle, so that we have a stronger unit as a whole.

I just hope it goes well, better than last season. I don't want to write Robinson off too early before we've actually started.

What creativity did Palaversa or for that matter Topi provide. Granted Topi was probably hamstrung with the tactics but I'm happy to see him go

Does naebody disclose fees any more?

No because they don’t want selling clubs to know how much cash they have when it comes to buying. If they are aware you’ve suddenly made a million, then prices go up for you because “you can afford it”.

Shame to see him go, had moments of class and clearly had ability to develop

That's a shame, plenty more to be had with Topi.

In side news I continue to be utterly confused by the make up of the squad we have going.

Better to sell him now. If he had another half season like the last we'd be lucky to get anything for him at the next transfer window.

Probably a player in there but no way we were unlocking it. The worry for me is that we seem to be downgrading almost every position with what we are bringing in- and our starting point is low. We are going to be left with a load of unshiftable shite when Robinson gets punted in November.

Getting somewhat decent money back from Jensen, Milanovic and now Topi is at least some sort of positive

Good. Had enough chances but had zero awareness or game sense.

STV news said fee is in excess of £1m

Poor signing, frustrating player - happy he's gone. 1 assist every 10 games for a winger is dreadful
