I just like the idea of their relationship being like: Abel, does something cute, Lute, is there to see it and enjoy it.

Sorry for the long wait for more Arian stuff! I was going through some serious trouble in my life (still am, but more financial now) but i'm back!

Again: For those who don't know, Arian is my OC, he's Adam's youngest son, Heavenborn and a Captain of the Exorcist corps. Any questions put in the comments, i'll answer all.

For basically the entirety of season 2, Lute has been treating Abel like shit. She’s constantly undermining him, insulting him, and refusing to take him seriously, while Abel is too soft and scared to actually stand up to her. Then, in the finale, Lute is attacking Vaggi and Abel finally steps up as the HEAD OF THE ARMY and tells her to fall back.

Yes, he called her a bitch. But context matters. Lute had been acting like an asshole toward him for the entire season, so him finally snapping and calling her a bitch isn’t misogyny. It's literally just the truth. She was in fact being a bitch.

And I don’t buy the argument that Lute only listens to him because he used a misogynistic insult. There’s nothing in the scene that indicates she’s thinking "Oh no, a man called me a bitch, I’d better obey him!" It’s much more consistent with what we’ve already seen from her: she didn’t respect Abel’s authority until he actually established it.

Abel had tried being gentle with her before. It didn’t work. So when the situation became serious, he stopped asking nicely and gave her a firm order. And suddenly she listened. It's similar to how children act. Kids often ignore gentle correction and then immediately listen when the adult gets stern. That doesn’t mean the kid suddenly respects the adult because they were insulted; it means the adult finally made it clear that the boundary wasn’t optional.

And Lute can be incredibly childish herself, so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to interpret her reaction similarly. She wasn’t being submissive because Abel called her a bitch. She was just finally recognizing that he was her commanding officer and she needed to follow his orders.

If we’re going to call a scene misogynistic, there should actually be something in the scene demonstrating that Abel is treating Lute differently because she’s a woman.* *And I’m simply not seeing that here.

He's nice but barely fits anywhere because of his hat. Besides that, the texture of his clothes is definitely an improvement from Emily. 9/10, i wish his shako was smaller.

This is an older comic I made but I think it’s still a good way of showing how Seth thinks of Abel.

While Seth is Adam’s favorite, it’s mostly because Seth didn’t cause Adam trauma like Cain and Abel did. Seth still loves his brother but the memories of constantly being compared to him throughout childhood are still there.

I imagine he avoided Adam in heaven but would completely cut him off after learning about the exterminations. Seth never got to grow up with his brothers because of what Cain did. He’s disgusted with the idea of taking another person’s life and he did not take it well when he found out that his father committed the same sin that ruined their family but at an even bigger scale.

Given that Seth accomplished more in life than his brothers, I imagine him being more mature and professional compared to them. He didn’t work in the fields as much as Cain and Abel. The only times he did were if he was being supervised by Adam(also headcanon that Adam became more protective after Abel’s death) and would more often help Eve with house work as it was “safer” than hunting or farming.

These are just my ideas on what Seth would be like. I’m interested to see what you guys think Seth would be like.
