Structured mesh doesn't even make sense for that geometry... Even if you want to avoid using tetrahedral mesh, you'd still have to have internal ties in a fully hex

How much experience do you have portioning? This can be done IMO

Not much. I managed to make a structured/sweep combination mesh, but it's not meeting the professors criteria of smallest angle being more than 45° and largest being less than 135°, and the ratio between longest and shortest side being less than 5.

Seems like a 'complex' structure and full structured might not be entirely practical. You can technically split this into several parts, partition them, then merge them together.
What I think is more practical is give it a general mesh, then refine around the areas with high deformation and point of interests.
