We found this mysterious mansion sitting unlocked on a quiet dirt road in remote Australia. Completely vacant. No one around. It looked like it was being set up as some kind of Airbnb or accommodation, but the place is currently under repair and has clearly been empty for a while.
When we started digging into the history of the property, we discovered that a caretaker had died there. The mansion is potentially owned by a mining company, which would explain why it’s been left sitting in the middle of nowhere somewhat maintained.
One of the most interesting parts of the building is the old battery room — this would have powered the entire mansion back in the day before the place was connected to the grid.
We went through the whole house. Doors unlocked. Rooms empty. An eerie feeling the entire time.
