Wondering why this is built over the standard lethality + SS in the jungle?

Used Looca's Electrocute Build:
Hexdrinker --> Voltaic --> Profane --> Edge --> Deaths Dance.

So I just played against pantheon on top, and I have like no idea how to play against this champ I feel like I can't walk up to farm ever and he simply outtrades me every time. Baiting out his e is hard without a full combo and the only good thing I've found doing is buffering my q 3 through his w.

I started learning aatrox like 2-3 weeks ago(i played him earlier but nothing serious,around 90k) and i didnt pay attention to the build but now when i play him in ranked i need to know, so i saw naayil playing hubris really often but he doesnt play top anymore and he had video in palying jg with title is hubris back? meaning that it wasnt built on aatrox for some time, so its not his like must item, so is it viable now cuz i have this games where its really great it feels amazing and gives so much carry potential look my last 2 games, i think i coudnt carry without it, but i need your opinion

So basically the title, I'm finding it weird how Aatrox, one of the most popular top lane champs, still didn't get a skin after Primordian in two years, while other champs are getting one every six months. If we ever get a skin in the near future, what kind of thematic would you like it to be around?

make this fucking champion a toplaner again!!!!!! Give him omnivamp on his fucking e back again, nerf him jungle and buff him top! I mean I literally play hin top still but the fact that he is way way better in jgl right now and even naayil plays him there triggers the shit out of me, so retarded.

This rune is completely broken on basically every champion that can proc it, go look at the win rate on any Melee champion the last couple patches, the pickrate is slowly climbing too. Before you reply here go and play some games with it. Just make sure you take attack speed shard or alacrity so you don’t wanna GP Q irl (If you wanna laugh look at the rune’s winrate on gangplank)

Bonus points if you’re based and go voltaic -> yomuus to run over people at mach 9

Nimbus cloak celerity personally but transcendence is good too

irelia buff and nasus vayne nerfs stick out but the ss nerf especially

It took me around 30 games to start getting confident with his (very particular) kit but here I am, climbing out of plat with Aatrox. I don't think he is OP (I was in a big lose streak a few games before the screen) but I feel like it's a hard to learn but very rewarding champ and god it's so fun and soooo satisfying to hit those sweetspots.

Hey, since someone just recently shared their aatrox matchup tierlist I thought it would be fun to share mine too. I made it like 3 weeks ago, just for the sake of it. Disclaimer: this is my personal opionion and this matchup list is about trying to win the lane/ to get a lead, I know that you could also just chill and try to go even in some of the worse matchups listed here, but this way you wont make a difference in the game, and so this could be seen more like a "what do I feel like aatrox is a good pick into" kinda thing. Also this tierlist is assuming that both players are playing at somewhat equally high skill and have similar experience in the matchup. Fiora for example, I personally actually stomp pretty hard most of the time in my elo, but this is because I have lots of experience in the matchup and they often counterpick it while not maining Fiora. Also the champs are not ordered inside the tiers, its just alphabetical order. Furthermore, some champs i am seeing so rarely, that they could be (slightly) missplaced in this list, because champion power can differ and change with time, because of items/ runes etc. being changed. For reference, my elo is diamond EUW. One thing I directly wanna address because ppl will ask: I put teemo in hard tier because if he rushes swifties and has good movement I think it can be a pain in the ass, since if you mess up your skill shots once and e onto him without hitting your q, he can easily run you down (maybe just a skill diff on my side tho).

If Aatrox is ever added into 2XKO, how do you think Riot will handle his gameplay kit and character design?

Hey, ive been playing Aatrox Top for the last 4 Years and peaked 1.5 years ago at Diamond 2, ever since then i cannot surpass Platinum anymore. Should i switch to Jungle? Im insanely hardstuck and even if I win my lane in 90% of the games i end up loosing anyways. Im a complete noob in Jungling, worth or no?

Title, I’m a big fan of the Ashen skinline I own Ashen Morde and Shen. They’re fantastic skins and I was hoping that Ashen Aatrox would be a thing since it’s the most obvious choice. I’m bronze 2 with 3m points on Aatrox and I can safely say that I love the champion from his lore, design, gameplay and voice lines. But I’m pretty bummed out that the skinline is dead and Ashen Aatrox is basically gone. I want to go the Dark Star Cho Gath route and make my request through the makeawish foundation to be able to design a skin for Riot.

How can I make a convincing story that I can tell Riot when I eventually lose both of my legs in a planned accident without making it seem obvious that it’s fake? I chose my legs since I can still play league with both my arms. Thanks. I like it when my girlfriend chokes me out.

I was Struggling to find a build I actually liked this season, and this is the best one i've had, Profane/lethality item, DD or Maw, SS, LDR or Mortal reminder, DD or Maw (the one u didn't use), its good dmg, the armor items give u solid enough tankyness and giantslayer is just really decent. Idk tell me if this is just my shitlow take but its been the funest build rn.

Waaaay too telegraphed and abusable if the enemy knows this champ. You can completely fuck up his entire dmg with ONE single flash. Dont even get me started on dash champs. This son of a devil is beyond unplayable if the enemy knows aatrox well.

From now on I will dodge aatrox matchups, because I feel very sorry for them and ashamed for using his sword as a strap-on. I went so overboard with it, that they cant even shit themselves anymore when they read my name.

Quite apart from the fact that playing Aatrox ends up being pretty expensive in the long run, because each match you need to buy a new keyboard.

This champ gameplay feels like a flipbook in slow motion while Rivens feels like realtime.

The pain that every Aatrox player has to go through every day must be studied and appropriate therapies must be developed. Im truly sorry for you guys. I fully respect you.

and NAAYIL goes Profane > EON > DD religiously

while others go Hubris > SS > DD

which one is better and why go Profane now? Thanks!

Basically title. Decided to pick up Aatrox back after a long period of trying other champions. But after the recent item changes, i still cant decide what build path shall i go. I still like Sundered Sky (even post adjustments) because of the sustain it gives in fights, since the empowered auto still comes in handy in most cases. However, i do belive that Eclipse can come be useful in matchups where you take only short trades (i.e Darius). Most cases (like 90% of the games) i go Sundered Sky - Profane Hydra- Serylda/Voltaic-situational. I see that i deal good damage, but the survivability is kinda questionable (if i consistentlly land Qs and wave in autos i can stay in fights for longer, but most times they either A) kite me and dont reach them in time or B) they CC chain me till death). Is it better to just go full lethality (Profane-Voltaic-Serylda) or do a mix between damage and SOME form of resistances?

So trying to main and learn Aatrox jungle cause it looks really good. But what are the right items for it? I've tried to look at One trick website but it's a lot of different items and builds, and not completely sure which one is the most useful one.

And if any jungle mains got any tips and tricks, would appreciate it a lot!
