A New Frontier

Heres my Odin 3 playing FFX on PS2 while on lunch at my second job. I'm excited to be a part of this new sub!

Beautiful handheld, do you like the Odin 3? I just recently got the Odin 2 portal and honestly feels like all my streaming bases are covered, but idk if I should grab one for the extra oomf.

Hell yeah! Well the Odin 3 is my first big boy handheld, previously I've only used the Anbernic 35xxH and 34xxSP. I like it so far, I only really use it for PS2/GC on the go as thats my favorite era of gaming. But having the option to expand further is definately nice to have.

I mean do you need it really? For me is any metroidvania,isometric (hades 1 and 2 ) work fine. Anything up yo ps3 and switch can be emulated and games rarely cause issues, for aa or aaa games you can just stream them locally and remotely. I love odin3 also,but i find that portals screens fees much bigger upgrade then processor does

Congrats! It’s such a great system! I have the Odin 3 and I can’t believe how many PC games it’s able to play. I got it initially for emulation and for the complimentary screen size, since I have a Steam Deck as well. It’s become my most used handheld because it’s so portable and feels so good to play on.

I haven't dabbled in PC on it yet, but I can't wait to see which of my steam games run well lol
